That game was Tee-Off golf. Just the       way they handled the scrolling and whatnot, it's such an impressive 2D       title.              > Was thinking of       > picking up one of the Hot Shots Golf games. Any thoughts/reviews on       > those games?              I've played parts 1 and 2, with 2 being the better of them. I've not       played them on the PS2 though, but I hear those are just as good. If       you're not into the super realistic golf that Tiger Woods(and other       utter shit) offers, this is for you. It's almost arcade-like...              > For Christmas, I found myself a cheap copy of Outrun 2006: Coast to       > Coast for the PS2. It's a real treat.              > Makes me totally regret the day when the 32x was on clearance, and       > could be had BRAND NEW w/Virtua Racing (Toys R Us sale) for $20.       > *STILL* to this day I haven't picked one up. But I have since picked       > up Virtua Racing and Star Wars Arcade... Just need to get me a 32x       > now :)              Yeah, there were some great deals going on when the 32X died. I picked       up one for $20, but I don't think it came with anything, unfortunately.       I think the first few games I got for it were Space Harrier and After       Burner. I don't much care for either, so that kind of sucked. I did get       MK2 and Shadow Squadron ASAP though. Doom was great too, I must have       played through that 10 or 15 times.              I may be able to help you out with your 32X issue...email me at some point.              > and then there's my new, sealed Panzer Dragoon Orta waiting for me to       > pick up an Xbox. i really gotta stop buying games for systems I       > *DON'T* have but plan on getting sometime in the future! :P              I like Orta, but it's just so fucking hard. I mean, REAL hard, as in       dying quickly and frequently on pretty much any level.              Bel       --       Whip Ass Gaming: http://www.whipassgaming.com/              "We aim to try."        - Deputy Clementine Johnson, Reno 911              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
