   In that case, you may want to do a Google search on RGVS and ASG for   
   games that don't run without holding that Mode button down, because   
   there's quite a few, and you'll most likely be running in to them. :(   
      
   Also, the graphical issues you're running in to sound suspiciously like   
   the ones from the Genesis 3 system.
