   Sony brand loyalty (which is hopelessly tied to Sony's wildly fantastic   
   marketing) and EA refusing to make even a single game on the Dreamcast   
   were primary causes of its demise.  I blame both of those companies for   
   the current state of gaming today as well.

   Whatever I'm wrong on, I've only ever hoped that some other informed   
   gamer would help me to iron out the kinks.  It seems to me that   
   religiously following a single company runs so strong in the video game   
   industry that reasonable discussions are the exception.
