I don't think people give Knuckles Chaotix the respect it deserves,       it was really quite good once you got use to the bungie cord thing.              Any way, I agree with you, I haven't had much issue with the new 3D       Sonic games, and I too don't really mind the camera or the parts where       the game just kind of plays itself. It's good stuff.              > Going back to a side-scroller and putting Unleashed in a 2.5D graphical       > engine is probably the best way to give everybody what they're expecting       > to see. I hope. That everybody holds Sega up to a higher standard than       > their competitors is both a blessing and a curse.              I think people will be pleased. I mean, honestly, I just can't see any       real issue with the classic 2D gameplay that had most people loving       Sonic in the first place....and then you throw in some gorgeous 3D       visuals and there you go. Still, I wish Sega would redo the first Sonic       game in 3D, much like they redid the Green Hill Zone in the secret level       on SA2. That was just too cool for words. I often times pop in SA2 and       just play around on that level for hours. They did it so right...and it       was so nostalgic, and yet new...and fun to play. In fact, when I get       home I'm breaking that out again...;)              > I'm really surprised nobody's brought up the game here yet.              I think you, Scott and Ted are the only ones still posting here who have       one of the newer systems. If they happen to bring it to the PC, I'll       definitely pick it up(much like Bionic Commando Re-Armed).              > On the other       > hand, Dosman is busy getting 8-bit systems running, Ethan is shaking is       > fist somewhere and Scott's kicking my ass on the VF5 leaderboards, so it       > falls to Bel to hold up the conversation. :)              I do what I can...;)              > -KKC, learning Vanessa's move set. She's a slow tank of a gaijin, isn't       > she?              I've never seen anything of her, other than her renders. I've not ever       played VF4 or 5. :( I really dig VF3 though, it's easily my favorite of       the series that I've played.              Bel       --       Whip Ass Gaming: http://www.whipassgaming.com/              "I'll tell you something, you show me anyone who will eat lima beans       without being at gunpoint and I'll show you a pervert!"        - Gaspar, Paladin of the Lost Hour              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
