Hopefully you got all the cables needed for the 32X...              > Here are the games.       > Kolibri,              Like KKC mentions, this is one hell of a shooter. Done by the guys who       did Ecco(Novatrade) it's, not surprisingly, nature-based: You play as a       hummingbird. The only few gripes I have about it are the fact that ALL       of the powerups look the same, so trying to build up a certain weapon       can be super difficult, and dying leaves you with nothing...and thus,       once you get far enough in to the levels, you won't have a chance of       making it. Still, it's a lot of fun until you hit an incredibly hard level.              > Shadow squadron,              Quite possibly the *Best* 32X title available. Love it to death(as do       most). The lack of continues and incredibly long levels do take their       tolls though...after a while.              > cosmic carnage,              Believe it or not, I like it. It's not a great fighter, but it's       definitely interesting and plays alright. If you can get used to the       speed, it's worth going through at least once to see all the level and       character effects.              > space harrier,              Had this on my very first 32X, but not being a huge SH fan, I didn't       think much of it. Those who are, however, will tell you it's an       excellent port of the arcade original.              > virtua       > fighter,              Every time I see this one, I just swell up with pride for my 32X. Such       an incredible conversion.              > tempo,              Fun, cartoony platforming goodness. Large sprites, loads of color and       some of the oddest stages you'll ever see. Love it.              > black thorne,              Have played a bit of this via emulation, just to see what the fuss was       about; I wasn't real thrilled. I do plan on getting it at some point       down the line though.              > metalhead,              Another that most will tell you sucks...and as usual, I'm going to tell       you I like it. As far as I know, this and the horrible, horrible Darxide       are the only two texture mapped 32X games...and it's really something to       see. It looks like early Saturn games did...well, sort of a beta of an       early Saturn game. Kalinske was *so* right when he tried to convince SoJ       to let them keep going with the Genesis through 1995. I can only dream       of what some of the last gen Genesis, 32X and SCD titles could have been       like.              > zaxxon 2000              If you can get used to the slow speed(sound familiar?), this is an       excellent shooter. I was never a big Zaxxon fan, but this is just       incredible. 3/4 perspective, polygon enemies, wonderful scenery. I can       make it all the way to what I believe to be the last boss, but he kills       me the *second* he appears on screen. I've yet to be able to figure out       what's hitting me...              You ought to see some of the Earth-like levels...(this fish!)              > $4 a game seems like good prices although I've never heard of many of       > these.              Excellent deals, all of them.              > Also got 2 unknow Genesis carts, Dynamite Headdy (?)              A solid, Treasure-made platformer where you use different heads for       attacking. It's, as usual with all Treasure games, very unique...and       very good.              > and Soldiers of       > fortune.              Not a real big fan of this one...but I also haven't put a whole lot of       time in with it. Won tons of awards back in the day, just overall and       for it's co-op gameplay...              Bel       --       Whip Ass Gaming: http://www.whipassgaming.com/              "Do not eat iPod shuffle."        - Apple Computer              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
