METALLIC UNIFRAME SUPER HYBRID ARMOR TM"       While viewing the DEMONSTRATION SCREEN press the START BUTTON on       CONTROLLER 1 to raise the TITLE SCREEN. Use the control pad to move the       flashing cursor next to OPTIONS and press the START BUTTON to raise the       OPTIONS SCREEN. Use the control pad and the C BUTTON to sample MUSIC       from the game. Use the control pad to highlight GAME LEVEL and select a       level of gameplay, (EASY, NORMAL, or HARD). Use the control pad and any       button to sample SOUND effects from the game. Once you are finished use       the control pad to highlight EXIT and press the START BUTTON twice to       return to the TITLE SCREEN. Use the control pad to move the flashing       cursor next to GAME START and press the START BUTTON to begin gameplay.       USING THE CONTROLLER       START BUTTON- Pause during gameplay       A BUTTON- Select FREE, FORWARD, 3-WAY, BACK, REVERSE, or ROLL from       weapons mode       B BUTTON- Fire accessory weapon (see PLAYING THE GAME)       C BUTTON- Fire weapon       CONTROL PAD +       Press Right- Fly to the right       Press Left- Fly to the left       Press Up- Fly forward (toward the top of the screen)       Press Down- Fly down (toward the bottom of the screen)       PLAYING THE GAME       A status display is exhibited across the top of the action screen       showing the score, the ARM LEVEL, a weapons mode, a weapons power       display (ship), and the number of lives remaining. You begin the game       with three lives and get bonus lives for high scoring, (you get your       first bonus life at 100,000). You must blast your way through seven       stages of all out intergalactic warfare. Press the A BUTTON to change       your weapons mode and alternate between FREE (support drones will break       off from your fighter and independently engage the enemy), FORWARD,       3-WAY (three way triangulated forward fire), BACK (fire forward and       backwards), REVERSE (fires weapons in the direction opposite to that in       which you are pressing the control pad), or ROLL (droid support craft       will orbit your fighter). A power up craft bearing the number 2 and       power up spheres will appear from time to time. Hit the craft with       weapons fire and it will drop a payload of power up canisters,       (canisters are designated by the number 2). Catch the canisters as they       drop toward the bottom of the screen to power up your weapons, (increase       the strength of your weapon). Hit sphere-like objects with weapons fire       and they will launch a plane. Collect a blue sphere-like object and your       fighter will be shielded by an orbiting ball of brilliant energy.       Collect a green sphere-like object and your fighter will be armed with a       laser beam, (accessory weapon). Collect a red sphere-like object and you       will be armed with multi-directional bombs, (accessory weapon). Press       the B BUTTON to use accessory weapons against the enemy. At the end of       each stage you must battle, and defeat, a powerful adversary in order to       advance in the game. If you get hit by enemy fire, or collide with an       enemy or solid object you will be injured or lose a life.
