|    Saturn/DC Battery woes...    |
|    27 Dec 08 19:29:22    |
From: bel@whipassgaming.com              Ok,              So we all know that the Saturn and DC both have a small battery inside       them that helps the system remember the date and time. In the past I've       never really had any issues replacing them...or any issues in general       with what they do...but now...              So I go out and buy a new CR2032 for the Saturn, I pop it in, set the       date and time and assume everything is good. Next time I turn on the       Saturn, it asks for the date/time *again*. What the hell? Isn't the       battery supposed to take care of that? Also, with the Saturn, does the       battery actually help keep the items in the system's buit-in storage       alive, or are they always there?              I have this same issue with the DC(asking about date/time), and the       replacement batteries don't seem to help. What kills me is that these       two systems are plugged in 24/7...granted, they're not turned on 24/7,       but isn't being plugged in enough?              Bel       --       Whip Ass Gaming: http://www.whipassgaming.com/              "Now what's your momma gonna say about this?"        - Marcus Hill, Narc              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
