   Backbone is sort of the quality version of Digital Eclipse. Where DE   
   just sort of throws in some stock emulator and then leaves it at that,   
   Backbone actually optimizes and adds stuff to it. Remember, these are   
   the guys responsible for stuff like Commando 3, Super Puzzle Fighter HD   
   Remix, SSF2 HD Remix and the always-awesome version of 1942 that hit   
   XBLA and PSN.

   On an HDTV, it really almost has to be there. It hurts my eyes to see 16   
   bit graphics on an HD display...especially when the shit is being shown   
   or upscaled to 1080 res.

   I saw that, ya bastard. They announced the game, what, over a year   
   ago...talked about how it was going to be a straight port, just some   
   English subs and that was it. We're *just now* getting it. What the fuck   
   happened? I hear it's kind of mediocre(much like the PS2 versions), but   
   the videos make it seem fun. How is it?
