Sure every fighter       out there has the same basic control scheme for every character, but       their moves are more varied than the MK games have ever been. I've       always considered this just one of MK's unique characteristics. Because       fighting games are really all about the special moves and combos I find       the added distinctiveness of unique basic movesets to be relatively       unimportant in judging a fighting game's quality.        Diversity and realism is as irrelevant to the discussion as my       desire to see a fighting game where scenery can be used as it would in a       bar fight or in a dark alley. I can only imagine all of the fighting       game fans that would complain about how difficult a game that attempted       simulated a real fight would be. Oh wait, we need look no further than       the Golden Axe Beast Rider reviews. ;)              --       Scott              http://www.gamepilgrimage.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
