We finally got some rain after a few dry weeks. There were thunderstorms at
the north end of Chesapeake Bay which swept down here over the afternoon. We
had three bursts of substantial rain lasting 5-10 minutes each time over about
   an hour. The
temperature also dropped from 91 to 76 during that time. They're predicting
more rain over the coming week.
