I guess cropping next week.       > I thought some this week.               i'm not quite understanding this post of yours. i may be       too tired... :)               today i ended up going outside to weed having decided to       hold off on planting until the next break in the weather.       the garden i weeded has needed it done for a month or more       and i just wasn't able to get out there so now it is done       and the rains have come along to give all the gardens some       water.               i only thought it was going to take me a few hours to       weed, but it was such a nice day that i took my time and       enjoyed myself completely and it took almost four hours       and then i did a few other things in other gardens like       picking some strawberries, weeding out some bedstraw and       burying some banana peels and other veggie scraps.                      then after resting a bit i had to go bury another chipmunk       which was caught in a rat trap using a little peanut butter       and a raisin. i've gotten my money's worth out of that       raisin as it is the fifth chipmunk i caught with it. i       did reset the trap but now that it is raining it might       melt away or the trap might get ruined. my brother bought       us some bucket top flip traps to use for the chipmunks but       so far they have only caught one. when we get overrun with       chipmunks it can get pretty crazy around here. one year       i caught over 50 of them in a few weeks. so this year is       quite tame in comparison to that. the flip traps will also       work for mice so i'm hoping to get them reset and reloaded       with bait in some new locations where mice are known to       run. now that they're getting rained on and have aired       out for a few days i think they will only gain in effective-       ness...                      songbird              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
