|    Squash bug repellent is in place!    |

From: T@invalid.invalid              Hi All,              If both the web and my gardener are correct that       Squash bugs hate the smell of onions, I now have       transplanted two green onions in each of 12 ground       pots hosting cucumbers and zucchinis. I went       with Green Onions as I have a bunch of them       (I prefer eating my Tokyo onions), they do not       have bulbs, so no crowding out of the other       plants, and they are really, really onion stinky.              https://imgur.com/M5KWGPm.png              I am also thinking of cutting up a few green onions       into a 5 gallon bucket of water, letting the soak       for a few day, then pouring them, over my plants.              We shall see. I will keep everyone posted.              -T              p.s. earwigs are not offended by my green onions.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
