From: deowll@gmail.com              This knife has a 5 and a half inch blade that is sort of like a chopper in       looks with a sharpened rounded tip. I bought this as a kitchen knife to use       on acid fruits and veggies and this thing looks like it should be great for       that. I've used it and it is sharp and cuts well. I made a carboard sheath       to protect the blade.              I would commend this knife to those who want a ceramic knife and are willing       to live with the limits of such a blade.              This company will sharpen their blades when and if that needs doing.              I have been told you can sharpen ceramic blades with fine grit sandpaper.       Does anyone know more about this? I'm not going to do a thing to this blade       other than use it until it gets dull and I don't expect that to happen soon.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
