   **G'Day Bri :-)

That must have been some hangover that you and your lovely wife Ning (the
Naughty Nymph for Nana Plaza) had this morning! I thought that Ning had only
had half a bottle of beer to drink at yesterday's Kombat Anniversary Bash,
but I found out this morning from another guest that she had actually
knocked back one and a half bottles of Mekhong whiskey before she arrived.
No wonder she was throwing up all over the place! And as for you, well you
obviously had had one too many as you ended up in your 'birthday suit'
dancing on your table. And that was only half-way through the evening!

**Earlier today I phoned one of the IT technicians at Thai Visa to find out
if they had been having any problems with the search facilities and results
shown on their server database, and you might like to know that there have
been a few issues over the last week or so. Apparently there have been no
problems for those accessing the Thai Visa server via the LOS, but for those
like yourself outside the country in particular those from Oz there have
been major problems which result in them being unable to do a proper search
and in most cases getting a standard '450/55/NRF/ayrww34-884EFYY/877/DANNI'
(Sorry, database unable to respond to your request, please try again later)
error message. Jerry (the IT technician) asked me to pass on his apologies
and said that things should be back to normal by Friday of next week at the
latest, so I suggest you wait till then before you try further searches. If
I hear any more news via Jerry I'll let you know.

**Jerry the IT technician at Thai Visa is also a Ham radio enthusiast, so
Brian could always make direct contact with Jerry. Jerry is also a fellow
bird-watcher so I'm sure they'll get on well together.

That's assuming that Brian ever managed to get his 'Buzz Aldrin Grundig
   Special edition' up and running.....
