|    Oh look, an actual knife question.    |

From: coocookeechoo@hotmail.com              Here is my problem.              Years ago I purchased an Applegate-Fairbairn from blackjack knives (that's       actually not my problem)              The problem is, is that I tried to texture the grip scales of this knife       and so buggered the scales that they had to be put down and disposed of.       (and I cried)              I Googled for replacement scales or a pattern to use but didn't find       anytrhing but the complete knife at both Gerber and Boker. Since I don't       need no new (yeah I know it's grammatically incorrect) knife I come to the       Sage Bar to ask you Sages as to where I might find grip scales for a half       tang Blackjack clone A-F dagger. I figure one of you might be able guide       me on my noble quest, 'cause that 5" .45 is a poor substitute and REALLY       friggin heavy when wearing short pants. Thank you for your support.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
