   If anyone is listening, I'd rather like to know the recommended pattern   
   of forging Damascus blades - I know how to make it for gun barrels, but   
   the reasons for using Damascus steel in knives and guns are different.   
      
   I have a puukko whose blade *SEEMS* to be Damascus, and it is quite   
   unlike the twist or Rose Damascus of an old gun.
