Can you fake a limp and carry a cane?

Surely you're not telling me that you guys are having trouble getting
criminals to follow the laws? ;)

I know! Most unsporting of them.
Other things are completely illegal even just to own. Switchblades,
balisongs (I used to have a miniature one with a half inch blade,
technically that's illegal too), push knives, gravity knives, brass
knuckles, belt buckle knives, sword canes. All it means is that our
stabbings are mostly done using kitchen knives, which, believe it or not,
are just as deadly when shoved into one's abdomen with force as most other
   types of knife.

Actually I do have a slight limp, and I've got a walking stick in the
cupboard from when I had a back operation in 2001.

I carry a small, old, sheepsfoot bladed folder, that I got from my brother
in return for fixing his computer, 2" carbon steel blade, and almost no snap
left in the spring whatsoever. In saying that, it is usually VERY sharp ;o)
