It is apparent that Krispy not only suffers from not only advancing
age but also the Senior Dementia that so often afflict those who have
spent their lives laboring in an unrewarding environments.

   Dementia:

Dementia is not a disease in and of itself, but rather a byproduct of
other mentally degenerative conditions. In general, dementia is a
nearly irreversible disintegration of all the higher thinking skills
that keep us sane and sociable. A patient suffering from dementia can
still see and hear, for example, but can no longer put all of the
sensory information they receive together coherently. The patient may
form nonsensical sentences or experience complete memory loss.

As any reasonably competent reader can appreciate the above is such an
accurate description of Krispy that the derangement might easily be
   renamed as "Krispy Dementia".

For those who are linguistically handicapped:

   derangement ~ noun
    1. a state of mental disturbance and disorientation
