Yes, I remember that post and Stevie is lying even there, face to
face, as it were. Alvin had told him a number of times to ignore the
trolls, saying, in effect, "out of sight, out of mind", but Stevie was
unable to do that. He just had to keep putting his oar in.
Finally Alvin gave up, never to have been seen again.
