   Just a little dish soap.  Soap and water works best for getting all the   
   blood out of crevices.   
      
   I keep my hunting knives razor sharp and usually touch up with ceramic rods.   
      
   I agree with other respondent on use of WD40 and wipe it off after   
   using.  I've never seen any corrosion or gumming up on my Buck folder   
   which is at least 20 years old.
