I'm going to be 65 this coming year. And over the past years, I've
owned a fair amount of pocket knives of various makes. I'm no expert on
the topic of knives, not by any stretch of imagination. But I do know
what I like in a knife. About a month ago, I attended a large indoor
yard sale in New Hampshire. I was looking for a pocket knife to replace
one which I had given away as a gift. At a vendor's table was a cigar
box with a handful of what appeared to be old pocket knives. I handled
each one and made my choice, and paid the asking price of $15.00_

   About the knife:

The knife's blades (3) are of a carbon steel, which is what I prefer.
Closed, this knife measures about 3 3/8 inch. The grip panels appear to
be of a dark, bone like, man made material, and very nicely jigged. A
few passes over a wet stone and the blades are as sharp as they need be.
There's a manufacturer's inscription on one of the blades that reads
"John Primble." I love the looks and feel of this old pocket knife more
than any knife I've ever owned, and it's my constant pocket companion
where ever I go. I shall never part with it.
