   The first I was shown was to fold up the edge on a phone book and   
   then press straight down aganst the edge of the paper.   
      
   Fold it so it stands at 90 dregee angle and he showed to fold up   
   about 3/8".

   Later I just noticed my buddy cutting the hairs off the back of his   
   thumb while testing his sharp/clip blade in his stockman. If it'll   
   cut the hair in two in mid/hair, it's sharp. :)   
      
   I still use that one. :)
