Exactly what I was looking for.              I had been checking Craigslist for months, hoping someone would put up a used       2X72 belt grinder but no luck. Cliff has been using a 1X30 for years, and he       seems to be doing ok with that. Harbor Freight put their 1X30 on sale for       $39.95 and I couldn't        pass it up.              Anyway, your homemade grinder and other gear is something like what I aspire       to put together myself someday. The biggest issue may be getting my wife to       give me more room in the garage.              Are you still dry grinding your blades? Seems counter to what Cliff preaches,       but maybe that's because your grinder is turning at a much slower rpm?               --- Geoff in Oregon ---              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
