James              I also have the same knife.I purchased this knife back in the 1980's at a flea       market in Pennsylvania. It is in mint condition still in the original box and       wrapped in the original plastic in the box. This knife was hand made in       Solingen Germany. The blades        were all hand forged and the handle is of real stag. There were only 50 of       these knives ever made.I was offered 2500.00 for this knife at one time back       in 2006.There is one for sale on ebay right now for 1750.00.These are the only       3 that I have heard of        in 30 years of just searching out of curiosity. It took me many years to get       information on this unusually large and beautiful knife.       Nice find!       I hope this was helpful.......Tom              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
