   This is an old post, but I knew Robert Rippy well and bought a lot of his   
   knives. I gave one of the DEA knives to each of my boys and they went to the   
   sandbox and the knives served well!!   I do know he died about 10-15 years ago   
   and I was a project    
   officer who ordered one of the last batches of knives from him.
