   HPD reported Sunday afternoon:  A father fatally stabbed his wife and   
   three children at their Manoa home before turning the knife on himself,   
   Honolulu police reported on Sunday.   
      
   HPD is investigating a tragedy that left five people dead including the   
   suspect and three children.   
      
   HPD says according to the preliminary investigation, the husband of the   
   Manoa family allegedly killed his wife and kids with a knife before   
   killing himself.   
      
   The motive hasn't been determined.   
      
   At Sunday's press conference, Lt. Deanna Thoemmes reported, "At   
   approximately 9 a.m. today, officers responded to a Manoa home where they   
   found five deceased individuals, an adult male, an adult female, and three   
   juveniles, a 17 year old, 12 year old and a ten year old."   
      
   Their identities will be released by the medical examiners office.   
      
   The call was because a witness reported hearing an argument earlier in the   
   morning, based on the evidence found at the scene and investigation.   
   Police say so far, it does appear the adult male killed the female and the   
   juveniles with a knife that was recovered from the scene.   
      
   Nearby neighbor Hiro Izumo told Island News, "I'm just back in from a   
   flight this morning, and my cousin who lives with me here, she just texted   
   me and said a homicide had happened, or something, this is a super quiet   
   neighborhood, nothing ever happens here, it's so quiet, you could walk   
   around at night and not care, I just know they're a younger family,   
   they're friendly neighbors, no problems with them ever."   
      
   Manoa resident Justin Donahue said, "This morning around 9 a.m. I heard   
   all the cops drive by and sirens go by, I really didn't think much of it   
   until late morning when I headed out, and saw the fire truck go down there   
   - I just wanted to make sure everybody was safe. nobody running round the   
   neighborhood still at this point, we were reassured the neighborhood was   
   safe and there was nobody out and about escaping the police and whatnot, I   
   was just worried about my family at first, we locked our doors and made   
   sure everybody was safe and sound at home."

   UPDATE:   
      
   An Island News Reporter who is on scene, saw both Honolulu Chief of Police   
   Joe Logan along with a police chaplain was at the Manoa scene.   
      
   HPD announce that it will hold a press conference this afternoon to   
   provide updates on this incident. No time has been set as of now.   
      
   UPDATE:   
      
   Honolulu Police Investigators confirm that the suspect is among those   
   killed in the home.

   MANOA, Hawaii (Island News) – Honolulu Police Department (HPD) initiate a   
   murder investigation after finding multiple people dead in a Manoa home.   
      
   On Sunday, March 10, HPD was called to Waaloa Place at 9:42 a.m. Heavy   
   police arrived on scene.

   Officials report that multiple deceased people were found in the home.   
   Witnesses also reported that there was an argument that occurred in the   
   home early Sunday morning.   
      
   No other information has been released at this time.
