   OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – As Wes Bradley was doing laps around the Seminole   
   Ridge Apartments Sunday afternoon, he was startled to see Garry Wilson   
   chasing one of his neighbors with a machete in hand.   
      
   “I look up and I see a guy with a great big, huge like some kind of   
   machete or some kind of knife just running as fast as he could trying to   
   catch up to this other dude. The other dude just screamed bloody murder   
   ‘Somebody Help! Somebody help,’” said Bradley. “It even shocked me.”

   A police report shows Wilson was allegedly yelling homophobic slurs and   
   threatening to kill the victim.   
      
   When Oklahoma City Police officers got to the complex near I-240 and Sante   
   Fe, Wilson got in his car.   
      
   “Had driven toward the police,” said Sgt. Dillion Quirk with OKCPD. “The   
   officer there on scene had to move out of the way to avoid being hit.”   
      
   Sgt. Quirk said Wilson then took off, leading police on a chase. Speeds   
   reached up to 60 miles an hour.   
      
   Officers eventually did a tactical maneuver near Grand and Sante Fe.   
      
   LOCAL NEWS: Two fugitives on A.G. Drummond’s most wanted list in custody   
   “Not before striking another person who was not involved, the suspect   
   struck another vehicle there in the area,” said Sgt. Quirk.

   Wilson was taken into custody and booked in the Oklahoma County Jail. He’s   
   facing assault with a deadly weapon, assault and battery on a police   
   officer, felony eluding and state traffic charges.   
      
   Fortunately, no one was hurt.   
      
   “It was an eye opener,” said Bradley. “It’s just a crazy world we live   
   in.”
