XPost: nyc.politics, talk.politics.guns, sac.politics       XPost: talk.politics.misc, alt.society.liberalism       From: cjameison@yahoo.com              Cops are looking for a man who chopped off most of the fingers on a man’s       hand with a machete after a sidewalk dispute in the Bronx erupted over       their dogs barking at each other, police said.              According to cops, a 34-year-old man was struck in the left hand with a       machete by an unidentified man around 11:24 a.m. Friday near Southern       Blvd. and E. 178th St. in West Farms.              The attacker and the victim argued over their dogs barking at each other.       As things escalated, the attacker yanked out a machete intending to attack       his rival’s dog — but the victim stepped in to protect his pooch, cops       said.              The victim was slashed and lost four digits. He was transported to a       nearby hospital in stable condition.              The assailant took off soon after the incident. He was described as being       in his 40s to 50s and last seen wearing a tan bucket hat, gray hooded       sweatshirt, green vest, tan pants and tan boots.              Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Crime       Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). All calls are confidential.              https://www.nydailynews.com/2025/01/25/machete-man-chops-rivals-fingers-       dispute-barking-dogs/              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
