   Ha!  Well, in fact he was on smack at the time.     
      
   John said something even more ridiculous in the Playboy interview of 1980.  He   
   named a couple of his dreary, lethargic solo songs and said that they were as   
   good as anything he had done with the Beatles.  It was a delusional   
   statement.     
      
   John was dismissive of his best (though far from perfect) solo album, Walls &   
   Bridges, in that interview, too.  Why?  Because he was away from Yoko when he   
   created it.
