Bruce, are you out there? I had a question for you. I've been having a series
of 40sessions in a hyperbaric chamber, to try to heal a wound I have. They
slide you into a glass tube that has a TV screen above it, and you can watch
   Netflix and Amazon Prime
streams (the sessions are 2+ hours long). So I'm revisiting The Sopranos, and
Episode 10 (A Hit is a Hit), which I just got partway through, is the episode
where Christopher goes to a party of some rap producer, who talks him into
   arranging a meeting
with Hesh, who from an earlier episode we know ran a recording publishing
company and was getting major royalties for six hits that (as Tony points out)
were written by Black artists, but Hesh, as the publisher, managed to get 50%
   (I think) royalties on
the music. In Episode 10, my session ended just when Hesh and the rap producer
meet, and the rap dude started his pitch that Hesh owes those artists full
royalties. I'll be fascinated to see what resumes in my session tomorrow.

But my question is, since you grandfather or uncle, was it, ran Savoy records
(Herman Lubinsky, right?) and gained some notoriety about royalties with some
artists, do you think The Sopranos might have him in mind? One of the artists
that Hesh supposedly "stole" royalties from is said to be Little Jimmy Willis
   ("Fools Follow
Angels"). Willis didn't record on Savoy or any of its subsidiaries, did he?
