Hi - this is not David - this is Karen Moynihan, nee Karen Wallace. I am the
person who did the Dylan recording in my apartment in May of 1960. Shortly
after making it he left town to begin his long career. I offered the tape to
   him at the time, but
he did not want it. He did ask me not to let anyone hear it because, although
he was not satisfied with his "performance" in it, it did apparently encourage
him to leave town to begin his long career. I probably still have the tape
   somewhere, but don't
know where at this time, and frankly I don't care! I have moved several
times in the past few years. It is unfortunate that for many years no one
believed that the recording was actually Bob Dylan - all were wrong - I think
   they know that now.
