   .. I can for the moment find two reasons for our neck lobes, one or both, to   
   be inactivated or lost at human:   
      
   #1. Is it a friend or foe?   
   (The neck lobes do basically act in the identifying of edible or non-edible   
   food. I.e., dividing between potato versus stone. -Or friend/ potato, and foe/   
   stone. And so on.)   
      
   For example, is Bob Dylan a friend or foe towards me when he is repeating   
   rumors in an artistic manner in some of his songs? This rather hard brain work   
   issue does risk an over consume of brain energies and time. And in the   
   prolonging, also, risk    
   altering the - I/me instinct gamete - for the birth of any possible child or   
   children of me. (-This when the altering of the gamete for the human - I/me   
   genome - has a probable link to brain over-metabolism.)   
      
   Probably, therefore, the neck lobes genes are inactivated - at the gamete - as   
   a precautious function to minimize the offspring's risk for brain   
   overconsumption. The explanation given here is a bit "messy". But generally,   
   both the genes for the neck-   
   lobes and the I/me instinct - at the offspring - have tendencies to be   
   inactivated or altered to minimize any risk for high or extreme metabolism in   
   the brain.   
      
   #2. The human unique - urge - (not an instinct) in our big brain (cerebrum)   
   for possessing double resources relative to the mean or standard amount in the   
   society we are situated in.   
   (This urge is only held by humans, no other animal has this urge in this way.   
   If any other animal, any other specie with a big brain, wants to hold   
   resources it does this merely in a standard amount relative to the   
   “society” it belongs to.)   
      
   Lot of functions in - only - the human big brain have a three set arrangement.   
   So the urge for holding resources, for example, have the sets of half, one or   
   double amount of own possessions (resources). This arrangement in the human   
   big brain is in a    
   long social evolutionary frame not that successful. It creates tension and is   
   dividing the human species in a social aspect. For example, the urge for the   
   double amount of resources has a tendency to create divisions of human   
   valuable categories in a    
   social context. -Where the human behavior of slavery, for example, (historic   
   and maybe future) has its basic explanation in this urge of the human species.   
      
   And if we incorporate the neck lobes in this double resource urge at humans we   
   get in trouble. Ethical trouble. And troubles with our conscience. Because the   
   neck lobes not only detect potatoes from stones, edible from non-edible. It   
   does also divide    
   right from wrong. (I.e. edible/ right, non-edible/ wrong.) In this context we   
   have the cause or reason for inactive neck lobes due to the “annoying”   
   conscience. -When we normally see people as equal and all worth the same. This   
   is an evolutionary    
   basic explanation for why and how our neck lobes have tendencies to vanish.   
      
   As a bonus reasoning we also notice that the mystic human behavior of   
   conspiracy has its basic origin in the urge for double resources and making   
   other people “lower” and not worth the same in the social sphere. I.e., my   
   constantly banging, knocking    
   and tapping neighbors - that now is going on in a more concealed manner with   
   sporadic almost not hearable knocks and taps - are of course involved in the   
   conspiracy of OP 57/68.
