   In the 90s one of the most popular Belgian bands was called 'From Us to   
   You' and they sang their way through the Dubliners songbook. Their   
   musicianship was fine and they were good entertainment value, especially   
   in the context of Belgian festivals where they had an enormous   
   following, but their manager couldn't understand why I wasn't convinced   
   that songs such as 'Der Leefing off Leeferpool' would be an enormous hit   
   with UK folk audiences.
