   My name is Jan Mittendorp and I run a record label (Black and Tan Records)   
   and a booking agency (Crossroads). I combine the two for the same (mainly   
   USA) artists. I am based in the Netherlands but I sell my records worldwide   
   and I book the artist all over Europe and some of them also in the US.   
      
      
      
   For me blues is a part of the rich folk music tradition. Story telling music   
   that was created by artists who wrote and sang their own songs about their   
   own lives. For me the voice and the story are the roots of this great music.   
   I try to respect the tradition but also see blues as a living art form that   
   should constantly evolve as a result of new impulses from other musical   
   styles and new artists.   
      
      
      
   For future releases / tours I am looking for new talent:   
      
      
      
   - ORIGINAL artists with original material and an original style   
      
   - that can really SING   
      
   - have a real STORIES to tell   
      
   - are willing and able to TOUR   
      
   - and have NO drug or ego problems

   you know) send me a link to the music on the internet (website, MySpace,   
   Sonicbids etc) so I can listen to it there.
