   Greetings from the Old Fashioned Folksinger!   
      
   My good buddy Joel Landy and I will be performing at the Peoples' Voice Cafe in   
   New York City on Saturday, May 3, from 8:00 to 10:30 PM. We will each do a 25   
   minute set. Then we'll take a short break, and we'll finish the evening round   
   robin style, alternating and sharing songs until they pull the plug.   
      
   The Peoples' Voice Cafe is currently located in the Workmen's Circle Building,   
   at 45 East 33rd Street, between Park and Madison Avenues in Midtown Manhattan.   
   But alas! This will be the last time the two of us be appearing there. The   
   Workmen's Circle recently sold the building and has to vacate by the end of   
   June. That means the People's Voice Cafe will have to find a new venue for next   
   season, or else it will have to shut its doors after 29 years. We doubt the   
   latter will happen, be as of now we are not certain.   
      
   In any case, Joel and I will do our best to make May 3 at the Peoples' Voice   
   Cafe a show to remember. I am currently working on a new CD, and while it won't   
   be out until the fall, I should have four or five of the new songs ready. Joel,   
   as you may know, always has plenty of new material.   
      
   Suggested admission is $12 for members and $9 for nonmembers. However, you are   
   welcome to pay whatever you can afford, whether it's more or less. TDF vouchers   
   will be accepted, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds. For more
