|    So Artie Traum has died    |

From: et472@ncf.ca              I realize this has become the "Will Dockery crossposting newsgroup",       and even before that it had declined significantly, but it is a reflection       of the state of the newsgroup that the passing of Artie Traum gets       no mention.              I'm sure people have caught the news elsewhere, those still reading       the newsgroup. It was in the paper here I guess on the weekend,       coming from the newswire. I gather he died on July 20th (a founder       of the Twin Oaks commune died in early July, and it took almost a month       before her obituary appeared in the local paper here).              I don't have anything to say really, except that he does seem to       deserve a mention. I know his brother Happy has posted here in the past,       he replied to a post of mine about how John Sebastian had made the       auto harp hip.               Michael              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
