Ken Lyon is an inductee into the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame. He was also       a teacher and member of the band Tombstone. His family lived in my       neighborhood in Randolph, Massachusetts and I was friendly with his oldest       sister. His brother Don        sometimes played with him. Both his parents had a music background but his       father was an Episcopalian minister at the time of his death leaving his widow       and two teen-aged daughters and a young girl behind. He is the oldest of five       children and his        brother is the second oldest. I bought his record in 1970 when I knew his       oldest sister. Sadly the album has never been released on compact disc. At       the time it was recorded, Lyon was fairly well-recognized as a folk singer in       the Rhode Island area.        He was friendly with Richie Havens and other folk singers who regularly played       in the Boston area. You can find information on him by researching his name       or the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
