      XPost: nf.arts, nf.general, rec.music.celtic       From: dalton@nfld.com              This Wednesday,March 4, 9--11:30 p.m., at Folk Night at       The Ship Pub in St. John's, Newfoundland, the headliner       is multi-instrumentalist and singer Allan Ricketts.       Cover is $5, there are door prizes, there is an open       mic set between the two headline sets, and open mic       performers get a free beer. Also the kitchen is open       until 8 p.m.              Here is Allan's bio from nlfolk.com :              Torbay native Allan Ricketts is a traditional musician playing       a wide range of instruments. Allan plays traditional       Newfoundland and Irish songs and tunes and has developed a       deeply authentic approach to this tradition.
