This Wednesday, March 11, 9--11:30 p.m., at Folk Night at
The Ship Pub in St. John's, Newfoundland, the headliners
are singer Jenny Gear and guitarist Sandy Morris.
Cover is $5, there are door prizes, there is an open
mic set between the two headline sets, and open mic
performers get a free beer. Also the kitchen is open
   until 8 p.m.

Here is their bio from nlfolk.com :

"A duo of pros host this evening! Jenny Gear is one of the most well
known and respected vocalists in town and has performed in many theatre
and jazz style settings over the years while Sandy Morris is
unquestionably Newfoundland's most in-demand guitarist and composer. In
fact, he has probably been so for a long time now! We are very pleased
to present Jenny and Sandy for this very special folk night."

Next week (March 18) the headliners are Pennybrook and
   Shelder the Electric Clamfish.
