Dylan's Seven Curses(1963) was released in 1974 on the vinyl bootleg 'Are You   
   Now Or Have You Ever Been'. Dylan reworked the traditional folksong - the   
   roots of which go way back in time. Judy Collins did one version - 'Anathea'   
   (1963).   
   So it is not at all surprising that Joan Baez doesn't know who originally   
   authored it.
