   Hello guys,   
      
   Cubase keeps buggin' me for days now. I'm using Cubase 5 VST 32 with Windows   
   98. When I put a Send Effect in a slot, having it turned on for that audio   
   channel and even the send amount knob turned to maximum I don't hear any   
   effect. When I use the effect as  insert it works. But that isn't the thing   
   I want to do.   
   Same thing with Effect Send automation: I "recorded" the knob movement with   
   the write function and when I play back my song in the "read" mode, the   
   effect switches on at the right point, but will make no difference to the   
   sound... the delay just isn't coming.   
   Funny enough there are two songs where the Send Effects work from time to   
   time... no effect -> cubase-restart -> no effect -> PC restart -> effects   
   working with one song -> open next song -> re-open first song -> effects not   
   working or maybe still working... depending on weather... time... what I had   
   for lunch... i don't know...?!   
   But there are also songs where the Effect Sends never work! Could it be the   
   ASIO drivers causing that trouble?   
   I'm going nuts... pleeeease help me! Any advice is appreciated!
