   I can't find any corroboration of this relationship and suspect it   
   doesn't exist.  For one thing, the Kinks' leader is Ray Davies, with an   
   e.  For another, Martha Davis was born in California, and Ray Davies was   
   born in London, as was his brother Dave.  For another, frankly, there's   
   no way this is true and I'm hearing it for the first time in 2006.
