|    Liability for listening to music on the     |

From: mdudley@king-cart.com              Recently there has been a lot of publicity about the people around here       being sued for listening to music on the internet. We are behind a       large hill which makes radio reception difficult or impossible.       Therefore I have been listening to my favorite stations on the net. I       am concerned that these articles seem to be indicating that paying the       royalties on the music is being transferred to the listener instead of       the provider, yet I cannot find any way to pay these royalties if any       are due. What can I do to protect myself, other than stop listening to       radio stations completely. Are radio stations typically bonded in case       I get sued for listening to them?              Thanks,              Marshall              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
