   I sold books on eBay .  It is not a big problem.  .you can take a digital   
   photo of the pile of books and/or have someone scan a page for you. and post   
   it with your listing...list it with a decent reserve..like $50-100 and note   
   in your description you will send by "media mail" which is a special postal   
   rate for books etc. You have to give them a total weight and advise on   
   special rates outside continental USA.  You can insist on being paid via   
   PayPal...and when you get paid (paypal notifies you) you mail it off to the   
   buyer.  No need for people coming into your home etc.  Make sure the books   
   are inside a plastic bag in the event the Postal Service leaves the box in   
   the rain (which happened to me once)
