XPost: rec.music.makers, alt.music.4track, alt.music       From: me@privacy.net              Hi all,       sorry for x-posting, but I haven't found a special audio recording       group.Maybe you could direct me to the most appropriate group for my       question.       I was wondering if there was a software that can reverse the mixing of       music recordings.        The usual recording procedure goes like this: you record each       instrument or vocal into individual channels of your multitrack tape       or audio workstation.        Then you create a mono or stereo mix from the individual channels by       mixing all channels together into one mono or stereo channel.       Is there a software that reverse this procedure? So, a software that       can extract an individual instrument from a mixed mono or stereo       recording? So, you process a mixed recording to extract, say, the       piano, guitars, bass and vocals into individual tracks (to do a       re-mix, for instance)?       (Sorry for bad grammar, but english is not my mother tongue.)              Best regards              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
