From: paulallen77@verizon.net              My dad, who is now 94 years old, remembers some of the lyrics to a       novelty tune he heard when he was a boy (around 1925-1927?) but he has       no idea what song it is. Here's what he remembers:              Now Adam was the first man,       I surely do believe       (missing line)       (missing line)              Eve was fair to look upon       And oh, how she could dance,       Her dress was made of fig leaves,       And so were Adam's pants.              Does the lyric ring any bells? I'd sure like to know where it came from.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
