   I recently was given a copy of Ron Hynes' new CD   
   Stealing Genius and was impressed with it --- I   
   think it is his best work in a while.   
      
   On many of the songs on it he is inspired by a   
   writer (often a poet) and in some cases even uses   
   the words of the writer as some of the words of   
   the song and grants the writer cowriter (of the   
   song) status.  But some of the songs are entirely his.   
      
   Anyway I highly recommend it and he is still my   
   favourite Newfoundland songwriter and I will have   
   to catch him live at The Rose and Thistle soon.
