   Yes, "Kisses Sweeter than Wine" was recorded by Jimmie Rodgers in the   
   late 1950s. Back in those days "Country" songs sometimes ended up on   
   the "Pop" charts. I don't know what they were drinking, but according to   
   the song, they had lots of kids and grandkids.
