I can't help you find the song, as as this post is 13 years old, you may
already have found it. But I can provide some insight, as I have this
compilation. Back in '94 or so, I was on CompuServe (remember them?),
haunting the music forums, and found
this guy offering to send his microlabel compilation for free. So I requested
one and was delightfully surprised--it was a surprisingly great collection of
power-pop with a few detours ("Sweet Charlotte" could be an old U2 song). The
   Glistening's song
was excellent. The microlabel was Galt Records, and the guy who ran it was
named Walter Sczesny. I'm sure the label is defunct, but it was great stuff.
Only band on there I actually saw a CD from was All About Chad, whose snotty
   kiss-off "Here I Am"
was a highlight. If you're still following this thread, I'd be happy to burn
   you a copy.
