   Albuquerque-based instrumental rock guitarist, Mike Dekleva, recently released   
   his debut four-song EP, Synergy, on December 15, 2015. The EP was recorded on   
   May 5, 2015, at Paragon Recording Studios in Franklin, Tennessee, and during   
   subsequent recording    
   sessions in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kona, Hawaii, and Nashville, Tennessee.   
      
   Synergy represents the culmination of years that Dekleva has spent developing   
   his guitar playing and songwriting styles. Influenced by artists like Joe   
   Satriani, Eric Johnson, Andy Timmons, and Nashville session guitarist, Robbie   
   Calvo, Dekleva blends    
   lyrical, vocal-like guitar melodies, pop-style musical arrangements, and   
   familiar elements of classic hard rock into the four instrumental songs on   
   Synergy.   
      
   Synergy features an accomplished line up of musicians and contributors. In   
   addition to Mike Dekleva (guitars, co-producer), Synergy includes performances   
   by Robbie Calvo (guitars, co-producer), Amanda McCoy (bass), Jason Webb (piano   
   and keyboards) and    
   Grady Saxman (drums and percussion). Synergy also showcases the work of Casey   
   Barker (recording and mix engineer), and John Mayfield (mastering engineer).   
      
   Synergy has generated its share of positive press and artist endorsements   
   since its release. In the words of the EP's co-producer, Robbie Calvo, "the   
   original compositions you hear on Synergy embody all of the sensibilities it   
   takes to produce a living    
   work of art, from spark to completion, and Mike Dekleva's personal guitar   
   voice, heart, and passion for life can be heard in every note." Critically
